Overview:


As a litigation paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our litigation practice. You will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, managing case files, drafting legal documents, coordinating discovery, and ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing high-quality support to our legal team and clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist attorneys in the preparation, drafting, and filing of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and court rules to support litigation strategies.
  • Manage and organize case files, including maintaining electronic and physical documents, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Assist in document review and production, including organizing and indexing exhibits and evidence for trial.
  • Prepare deposition summaries and assist with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and drafting outlines.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders, procedural rules, and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate trial preparation, including organizing trial binders, witness lists, exhibit lists, and demonstrative evidence.
  • Assist attorneys during trials, hearings, and mediations, including managing exhibits and preparing courtroom presentations.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling depositions, court dates, and meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in litigation support, including trial preparation and case management.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery (eDiscovery) tools and litigation support software.
  • Knowledge of court procedures, filing systems, and litigation best practices.
