Job Overview: As a General Artificial Intelligence Partner, you will be at the forefront of our GenAI practice, focusing on GenAI issues. You will provide strategic legal counsel to clients, navigate the complexities of GenAI-related regulations, and ensure compliance with evolving laws. Your role will involve managing high-stakes GenAI projects, business development, and mentoring junior attorneys.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the firm’s GenAI practice, with a focus on GenAI issues.
  • Provide expert legal advice on the development, implementation, and regulation of GenAI technologies.
  • Advise clients on GenAI-related contract drafting, intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical considerations.
  • Stay current with advancements in GenAI technology and related legal frameworks to provide forward-thinking advice.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, regulatory proceedings, and litigation involving GenAI issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to GenAI technology development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with clients’ technical teams to understand GenAI applications and ensure legal compliance.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff, fostering professional growth and expertise in GenAI law.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients and expand the practice.
  • Participate in firm leadership and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the firm.


Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology law, with a focus on AI-related legal issues.
  • Proven track record of handling complex legal matters involving AI technologies.
  • Expertise in federal and state regulations related to AI, data privacy, and intellectual property.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Computer science or technology-related undergraduate degree.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies and their legal implications.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations related to GenAI and technology law.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
