The Product Manager on the OrganaBio Business Development team works cross-functionally within the organization to support R&D, Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Operations activities as the company’s partnerships with the broader Cell Therapy industry are vetted, cultivated, and managed to successful delivery of work product(s). This position will report to the VP, Corporate Development. The Product Manager will play a critical role within our organization to ensure product and customer success with each new product launch and customer order. As such, the Product Manager will be responsible for supporting day-to-day Sales-Manufacturing-Operations activities as well recommending and implementing process optimizations with voice of the customer and the industry at large as their main driver. This position requires effective collaboration with all departments within OrganaBio, as well as with clients’ supply chain, process development, manufacturing, QA/QC/regulatory, and clinical research points of contact. The successful candidate for this position must possess technical acumen in cell therapy coupled with strong organization skills and must be able to build bridges for effective communication internally and externally.


  • Clear and concise definition and communication of Target Product Profiles (TPPs) internally to all relevant stakeholders to deliver on new product launches as well as custom product requests
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders across the OrganaBio team to facilitate process development, manufacturing, and analytical testing activities to deliver products that meet TPPs to customers
  • Walks “alongside the product” to ensure successful delivery to the customer
  • Maintains current knowledge of the cell therapy industry and trends, identifying opportunities to launch next generation products and platforms to establish OrganaBio as a leader in the space
  • Participates in technology road mapping with the VP of Corporate Development
  • Performs market landscaping to determine opportunity, competition, and product placement, positioning, and pricing alongside the Director of Marketing
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify, escalate, and propose mitigation plans for product related risks and provide regular status updates to leadership and other key internal stakeholders
  • Participates in day-to-day activities including but not limited to contractual review and support, relaying voice of customer and relevant customer feedback to stakeholders, document review and approval, batch documentation review, ongoing evaluation of existing and potential CTDMOs/CDMOs and development of competitive value of products
  • May support sourcing and procurement, RFP and contract review, and drafting and negotiation of SOWs and other proposals as needed
