Program Objectives:

Eligibility:
- Open to high school students in STEM programs, undergraduate and graduate students, or recent graduates pursuing degrees in biotechnology, biomedical sciences, biology, regulatory affairs, or related fields.
Internship Track and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing:
- Exposure to lab-scale and production-scale bioprocessing.
- Training in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment operation.
- Participation in process optimization and troubleshooting activities.
Tissue Procurement:
- Understanding ethical and regulatory aspects of human tissue sourcing.
- Engaging with suppliers, handling biological samples, and managing inventory.
- Learning about compliance with FDA and IRB guidelines.
Operations:
- Hands-on experience in supply chain management and logistics.
- Data analysis for operational efficiency improvements.
- Process improvement initiatives to streamline workflow.
Quality & Regulatory:
- Training in quality control, assurance, and compliance documentation.
- Exposure to regulatory submissions and audit preparations.
- Understanding CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and risk management.
