Overview

We are seeking a Certified or Certification‑Eligible Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team for 32–36 hours per week. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative, patient‑focused setting.

Position summary

You will be an integral part of our clinical team, supporting providers in delivering excellent care to our patients. This role involves both traditional MA duties and support for our innovative mental health treatment services.


Key responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy and confidently start IVs as needed for treatments and procedures.
  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and medical histories.
  • Support providers with in‑office procedures and examinations.
  • Administer medications and injections under provider direction.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms; manage supply inventory.
  • Provide patient education and follow‑up instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and HIPAA regulations.


Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or eligibility to obtain CMA certification under Oregon requirements (e.g., completion of an approved program and meeting experience/testing requirements).
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy and IV starts is required.
  • Prior experience in outpatient, primary care, or mental health settings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit team.


Schedule

  • 34 to 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday (specific schedule to be determined).
  • No nights or weekends required.

Salary
