Loke Walsh Immigration Law is currently seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to start immediately. We are a busy, tight-knit law firm in Culver City, and are looking for a dedicated professional to work on a broad range of business immigration matters, including E-1/E-2/E-3, H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, P-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERMs, and adjustment of status applications, as well as the occasional family-based application (marriage cases, I-751s and N-400). On any given day, you may be working on cases for artists and entertainers (musicians, dancers, actors, producers, directors, contortionists, TV hosts, VFX artists), scientists and researchers (astro-physicists, climate change researchers, artificial intelligence researchers), entrepreneurs, professionals (CEOs, VPs, investment bankers, engineers, accountants, architects, social media influencers), athletes and students as well as family-based cases. We are all immigrants supporting immigrants!

What you will do

  • Prepare immigration applications for both family-based, employment-based (NIV and IV), and naturalization applications for filing with USCIS, including drafting forms, support letters and supporting documentation, and responding to RFEs.
  • Work closely with attorneys to legally evaluate viability of cases; analyze and develop strategy and supporting evidence for cases.
  • Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner over the phone and in person.
  • Monitor the status of all filed applications and petitions and provide status updates to clients.
  • Effectively manage complex projects under tight deadlines.


You must have

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working as an immigration paralegal, including experience with H-1B, L-1, E-3, TN, E (Experience with PERM, O, P, EB-1A, EB-1B, NIWs is a plus).
  • Strong writing and analytical skills including use of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize.
  • Strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple, competing and changing priorities effectively under deadlines.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
