Procurement Lead
Salary Range: $60–65k Company: Logistis for Designers Location: Remote
Overview
Logistis for Designers is a remote bookkeeping and accounting firm exclusively serving interior design firms. We're looking for an experienced Interior Design Procurement Lead to run our Client Procurement Department — managing vendor relationships, overseeing client purchasing, and keeping our procurement operations running smoothly and efficiently for our design clients.
Our clients essentially hire our Procurement Lead as an extension of their own team — you could be handling ordering and procurement for up to 10 clients at a time. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects and clients at once, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Manage day-to-day product ordering and procurement workflows for clients.
- Continuously refine procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and optimize the procurement tech stack (e.g., Studio Designer, Houzz Pro, Programa) to support smooth purchasing.
Vendor Management
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing vendors and trade partners.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors as client needs evolve.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure favorable pricing and reliable service delivery.
Client Onboarding & Service
- Own the onboarding process for new procurement clients, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with firm standards.
- Maintain a customer-service-oriented approach — responsive, transparent, and focused on client satisfaction.
Financial Oversight
- Analyze procurement spend and budgets, using data to inform sourcing decisions and cost savings.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with client managers and the broader team to ensure procurement supports overall client success.
- Mentor and support any procurement team members as the department grows.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in interior design procurement (experience within financial or professional services a plus but not required).
- Procurement Expertise: Strong understanding of interior design procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and use insights to drive procurement decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and interior design experience required.
