Training:

Apprentices will receive one-on-one training from experienced Loc stylists. Initially, they will observe the techniques and methods used by professionals, gradually transitioning to practicing skills on clients. This structured approach ensures a solid foundation in hair care and styling.

Responsibilities:

Shampoo, Detox, Prep Clients

Assist in booking appointments and managing client schedules.

Help maintain salon cleanliness and organization.

Support certified professionals during services and learn best practices in customer service.

Duration:

The apprenticeship program lasts 12 months, providing ample time for skill development and practical experience.

Hours:

Apprentices will train for no more than 7 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced approach to learning and work-life commitments.

Compensation:

While the apprenticeship typically incurs no fees, we do offer a modest wage. Apprentices will not receive payment for services rendered to clients, as all services must be performed under the direct supervision of a certified professional.

Self-Discipline:

This apprenticeship requires strong self-discipline and time management skills, as the fast-paced environment can make it easy to fall behind. Apprentices are responsible for accurately submitting their training hours to management each week.
