As FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR: you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing field operations, supervising driver routes, and the field unit status’ to ensure the drivers’ schedule is efficient and productive. Provide guidance and important information to the callers, often being their first point of contact for any emergency or non-emergency calls uncovering the information that best solves their problems. You will act as the company liaison, ultimately responsible for the communications within the company and between clients and field technicians.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responding to email submissions and online inquiries, answering phone calls and giving quick quotes
  • Entering work orders into CRM systems and preparing daily work such as schedules and routes
  • Dispatching field techs, vehicles, equipment and parts to appropriate locations according to schedules, customer requests or immediate needs 
  • Communications internally and with customers to resolve problems and requests for services
  • Provide general office support to the managers, Team Lead, and service technicians. 
  • Inputting data into weekly and monthly reports to management, presenting feedback to management about open orders.
  • Create new accounts in CRM and submit requests to edit/update accounts as needed.
  • Communicate with other internal departments concerning shipment of parts and return of parts, delivery dates and status of orders, invoices, and assistance from finance with customer accounts.
  • Manage workflow within your assigned tasks daily, weekly, and monthly ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed correctly.
  • Service follow-ups, call to customers. (how was the service, any issues, would you like to schedule your next service visit.)
  •  All other duties as assigned or directed by management.

  • Specific industry knowledge: This will help you understand the scope of each field project and successfully coordinate employees in charge of completing those projects.
  • Communication: Serving as a link between professionals and clients requires advanced communication skills. Being able to transmit your messages clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and having the ability to listen to colleagues, clients, and other involved parties will help you achieve success in the role.
  • Customer service: A significant aspect of your job is making sure that clients are satisfied with the work that they hire us to perform. This requires the ability to understand what their issues are and resolve them in a way that ensures their satisfaction with the work.
  • Problem-solving: Besides resolving customer-related issues, field service coordinators are also responsible for providing assistance to the employees that the company dispatches to perform various jobs. This typically consists of acknowledging the issues they face while working on their projects and finding ways to help them overcome them.
  • Technology: It’s important to understand the technological tools that we use to complete in-field tasks, so you can appropriately assign technician skill sets and equipment availability. It's also important to have the IT skills to use specific software for various tasks, such as managing employee schedules, communicating with clients, and analyzing data.
  • Organization: You will be handling multiple projects simultaneously, having great organizational skills to help keep track of all related tasks is essential. Being organized in your work and tracking all relevant project-related details help you perform your tasks more efficiently.
  • Multitasking: The ability to focus on multiple goals at the same time while keeping track of all the actions you perform to accomplish them can help you achieve success in this role.
  • Time management: Learning how to manage your work schedule effectively can help you perform more tasks within the same time frame. As the role may require on-location traveling and other time-consuming activities, managing your time is likely to be essential for productivity.
  • Critical thinking: Being able to assess all available information critically and use the respective information to create a logical conclusion can be helpful in multiple job-related situations.

Pay based on experienced

Full-Time:

Monday to Friday:  8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Training: In-person, online

Work Location: open to remote once training is completed

Salary

$18 - $22 per hour
