We specialize in the testing, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems and are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Electrician Technician Level II to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment. Including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, power cables, circuit breakers, and grounding systems.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems in low, medium, and high-voltage substations.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance.
- Develop and track project-specific documentation, including test reports, equipment data sheets, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify, troubleshoot, resolve problems to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA, NEC) and company safety policies, including completing safety analysis of job tasks.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations to customers and the management team.
- Travel to client sites as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Completion of two or more years of technical education in electrical field or related field experience, preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance in low, medium, high-voltage systems.
- Valid driver’s license; Certifications in electrical testing and safety standards (e.g., OSHA 30, NFPA 70E) preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and requirements, arc flash and shock hazard analyses, electrical energy control procedures.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, work authorization is a precondition of employment.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check (and random drug screens).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Approximately 70% travel within specified geographic area is required. Overnight stays and travel may be required.

- Monday to Friday
- On call & Weekends, as needed
- Overtime
