Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform testing, commissioning and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment, including:
- Protection and controls, Transformers, power cables, circuit breakers, switchgear, etc •Work with engineers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Work as part of team to accomplish a common goal
• Prepare and review test documentation
• Prepare and submit daily reports
• Perform safety analysis of jobs and tasks
• Use and continually develop interpersonal skills
Skills & Knowledge:
• Ability to interact with clients and colleagues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational skills including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge of electrical design and control circuits
• Knowledge of protection schemes is considered an asset
• Knowledge of electrical design, maintenance, and commissioning
• Interaction with clients, customers, contractors, and others
Qualifications and Experience:
• Associate degree in electrical engineering, or electrical engineering degree is preferred. Consideration will be provided for other engineering disciplines and anyone with electrical experience, including electrician
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to legally work in the US
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly
• Must be able to perform work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
