Summary:
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing BHT staff and ensuring consistent, high-quality client care during our weekend program. This role involves supervising daily operations, managing staff schedules, coordinating client transport and activities, and maintaining accurate documentation. The BHT Supervisor also plays a key role in staff development, training, and performance management, while serving as weekend on-call support.
Schedule:
Friday: 9am-10pm
Saturday: 8am-12pm, 2pm-9pm
Sunday: 7am-9am, 12pm-4pm
Monday: 9am-3pm
School Break Schedule (when clients are out of school):
Friday: 9am-10pm
Saturday: 8am-7pm
Sunday: 8am-6pm
Monday: 11am-5pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support BHT staff across all shifts, including assigning duties and monitoring performance
- Manage staff schedules and arrange shift coverage as needed (with overtime approval)
- Conduct staff check-ins, training, and performance reviews
- Confirm day program clients and review case management notes
- Attend and help facilitate group counseling sessions and main activities
- Coordinate and adjust client transport schedules
- Provide direct care coverage when staffing is low
- Conduct house audits and ensure completion of shutdown checklists
- Provide additional support in residential houses as needed
- Review and approve timesheets, shift summaries, and incident reports
- Maintain accurate client records in EHR and ensure timely communication of care updates
- Serve as on-call support during weekends for urgent staffing or client needs

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent years of experience
- At least 2 years of experience working in behavioral health
- Experience working with children
