Liv Well Behavioral is a licensed outpatient behavioral health clinic for children. We've grown and have been involved with our community over the past few years. We've recently expanded our relationship to surrounding schools and are looking to provide more needed services. Summary:

The Associate Therapist will assist Liv Well Clients by leading group counseling sessions and providing individual therapy. The Clinical Director will provide supervision for this position, offering guidance on the group counseling curriculum and identifying clients for assigned caseload. The Associate Therapist will work with clients and guardians to achieve improvements in the behavioral health of the client. They will also collaborate with other departments on the client’s goals and treatment they receive while at Liv Well.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts quality individual therapy sessions to support clients in addressing and managing mental health concerns
  • Facilitates group counseling sessions (2-3 per day) for 2-4 days per week, lead discussions and activities that promote mental health and well-being and provide support and guidance to group members, fostering a safe and collaborative environment
  • Manages assigned caseload from intake to discharge
  • Performs diagnostic assessments to identify mental health conditions and determine client needs, develops and implements individualized treatment plan based on assessment findings and using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Prepares clients for discharge by coordinating follow-up care, providing referrals, and ensuring continuity of care post-treatment.
  • Documents and assesses the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the objectives and goals of the treatment plan.
  • Monitors client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provides crisis intervention as needed. 
  • Offers feedback and input on the development and enhancement of group counseling curriculum ensuring it meets the needs of the clients and aligns with best practices
  • Maintains detailed and accurate records of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes and completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner using the company’s EHR system (Reliatrax).
  • Participates in collaborative review team meetings and attends and participates in all other required meetings.   
  • Attends ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in the behavioral health field
  • At a minimum an Associate Level License (LAC, LMSW, LAMFT, LASAC)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working with clients in a group or individual setting
  • Experience working with an EHR platform preferred.

Salary

$50,000 - $55,000 per year
