Position Overview & Purpose

The VP of Service Experience will lead Service Experience Division in delivery of all Services and Infrastructure for a greenfield fiber-based broadband ISP. This role will lead all customer facing Delivery teams to include Field Installations and Repair, Program Management, Service Delivery, and Construction.

We intend to build a world class Service Experience organization devoted to quality of work and customer satisfaction and need an experienced leader to help us achieve this goal. You will work with other executive team members to develop vision and organization to deliver upon the business objectives of the LiveOak. Partner with President, CDO, and CRO to continually optimize delivery and ensure a high-quality experience for every customer. This role will be responsible for building the organization from the ground up.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Sr. executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies as they pertain to Service X
  • Oversees all functions pertaining to the delivery and support of services, management of construction vendors, and facilities
  • Ensures pace of construction and budget targets are being met
  • Ensures pace of delivery targets are being met
  • Teams with Sales and Development to plan annual capital and expense budgets
  • Cast vision for Service X and build organization from the ground up


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Outstanding working knowledge of Program Management, Field Operations, and vendor management of outside plant construction for PON based networks.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills, including in cross functional teams and situations
  • Process oriented, automation forward thinker
  • Very strong project management skills


Basic Qualifications & Competencies

  • 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience
  • 10 or more years’ work experience in Telco/Cable Field Operations, Program Management, and or Construction; 5 years leading multifunctional organizations or programs
  • Director/Sr. Director level or higher in current role
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.


Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

  • 10+ years’ experience leading regional service operations organization
  • Heavy emphasis in career on delivery automation

Salary

$225,000 - $240,000 per year
