Job description
Live Oak Audio Visual is a Seattle-area event production company specializing in audio, video, lighting, and staging for live events. We're in an active growth phase, and we're hiring a Warehouse Operations Lead to own our warehouse operations as we scale, including the buildout and integration of our adjacent warehouse space.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the Operations Manager. It is not a "keep it tidy" job. You'll own our inventory system end to end, run quality control and hands-on gear repair, manage the vehicle fleet, and design the processes that let us grow without breaking. We're looking for someone who sets a high standard and holds it.
What you'll own
- Warehouse operations: an organized, staged, show-ready warehouse with no scramble to get gear out the door.
- Inventory accuracy: full ownership of our rental management software (Flex5/LASSO), with monthly cycle counts and a full bi-annual physical count.
- Show prep and returns: catching shortages early, reconciling returns fast, and coordinating subrentals with the Operations Manager.
- Equipment quality control and repair: inspecting gear on return, and handling common repairs in-house (cables, connectors, fuses, lamp and LED modules, and more) while managing send-outs to the right vendors.
- Vehicle fleet: scheduling service, assigning vehicles to events, and keeping records current.
- Systems and growth: designing and documenting the systems we need now and at 10x scale, and leading the buildout of new warehouse spaces.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or AV/production operations.
- Hands-on familiarity with AV gear (audio, lighting, video) strongly preferred.
- Fluency with inventory or rental-management software; experience with Flex5 or a comparable platform a plus.
- Basic electronics and mechanical repair ability.
- A track record of building and documenting repeatable processes.
- Comfortable setting a high standard and following up with crew and peers to hold it, even without supervisory authority.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
- Forklift certificate a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical & sensory requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
- Comfortable with loud noises and hearing protection
Compensation and type
Full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Pay range $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
Benefits Include:
- Employer paid Health, Dental, & Vision insurance after 90 days *(option to add dependants at employee expense)
- Employer 401(k) matching after 90 days
- PTO
- Renters and pet insurance through our payroll processor
- Break room snacks!
Live Oak Audio Visual is an equal opportunity employer.
