A Registered Behavior Technician at Little Peach Pediatric Therapy is primarily responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized behavior intervention that helps children build skills, find success, and reach their fullest potential. This role brings clinical precision and genuine heart together: implementing ABA programs with fidelity, collecting meaningful data, and showing up every day for the kids and families we serve. An RBT plays a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, partnering alongside Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists to deliver individualized care that actually moves the needle.

Description

Our therapy team is the heartbeat of our clinic. Through your role of implementing, supporting, and collaborating, you'll directly shape the behavioral and developmental trajectories of children across Central Alabama. Every session, every data point, every skill you help a child unlock is a ripple effect, and we can't wait to see the impact you'll make.


What You'll Do

  • Implement high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs as designed by your supervising BCBA, with consistency, enthusiasm, and care
  • Collect and record accurate data during each client session to track progress and inform clinical decisions
  • Complete all session documentation within 24 hours of each appointment
  • Communicate client progress, questions, and concerns directly to your supervising BCBA
  • Maintain organized therapy materials and uphold clinic procedures and standards
  • Prepare materials and ensure your workspace is ready before the start of each workday  (be present and ready by 7:45 AM)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming therapy environment
  • Support client behavior during co-treatment sessions and clinic transitions
  • Assist with toileting and hygiene routines as needed with professionalism and care
  • Support new RBTs and candidates through modeling of teaching procedures, program implementation, and documentation protocols
  • Participate in team meetings, in-service days, and individual supervision sessions
  • Attend all required staff trainings and continuing education opportunities
  • Follow all HIPAA guidelines and adhere to BACB supervision and ethical standards
  • Accurately document time worked and report absences in a timely and appropriate manner

Qualifications


  • Active RBT certification preferred, not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check, reference check, and drug screening
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Adherence to professional and ethical standards
