Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, feeding, and communication evaluations using standardized assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and functional, measurable goals
  • Deliver therapy services in a clinic-based setting, with occasional opportunities for school or home collaboration
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations
  • Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Incorporate evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development into clinical work
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and co-treatments as appropriate
  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as needed


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Alabama SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in pediatric settings is preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass background check, reference check, and drug screening
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • A patient, energetic, and professional demeanor
