Description

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to join our team as a Preschool Floater. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our classrooms, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children, and promoting positive interactions between students and teachers. As a floater, you will work with multiple classrooms and be a key member of our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in all classrooms, including assisting with activities, managing transitions, and supervising play.
  • Ensure a safe and engaging environment for children by monitoring their activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to incidents promptly.
  • Promote positive interactions between students and teachers by encouraging cooperation and resolving conflicts.
  • Assist with meal and snack preparation and serve food to students.
  • Support the set-up and clean-up of activities and classroom materials.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials and supplies for activities and lessons.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including organizing and cleaning toys, supplies, and equipment.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Ability to observe and respond to the needs of children in a nurturing and supportive manner.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
