About Us:
Little Discoveries is a nurturing childcare center offering programs for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Our mission is to create a safe, enriching, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We emphasize self-help skills, responsibility, and imaginative play, with facilities that include an outdoor classroom, an indoor playground, and a STEM classroom.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere that supports the development of young learners. You will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that align with our curriculum and meet the individual needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote developmental goals and curiosity.
- Foster nurturing relationships with children, encouraging exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's growth and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and engage with families.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
