Liquid Lifestyles is a professional swim school with locations in Westlake and North Royalton, Ohio. We provide swim instruction for all ages and ability levels. Our Baby Bubbles program is designed for infants (6-months - 2 years old) and their parents, our Liquid Bubbles program is a small-group class for children ages 2.5-12, and we also provide group classes and private lessons for adult onset swimmers, competitive swimmers and triathletes.

Our coaching staff is recognized as the area's most talented team of swim educators, each chosen for their experience, education and most importantly, their character!

We are expanding our team of qualified individuals and seeking year-round coaches who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, are passionate about continuing education and enthusiastic about all things swimming.

WHAT DOES A LIQUID LIFESTYLES SWIM COACH DO?

Liquid Lifestyle coach provides in-water instruction in both private lesson and small-group class formats for learn-to-swim children (ages 6 mos. & up), adult beginners, competitive age-group swimmers, and triathletes. Positions are year round.

• 25+ hours per week with consistent weekly schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clients with leading-edge instruction using Liquid Lifestyles proven techniques.
• Deliver personalized improvement plans and clearly defined performance expectations to clients.
• Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Demonstrate motivational, energetic and professional delivery of instruction via verbal communication and demonstration.
• Embody the Liquid Lifestyles values of excellence and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS

• Consistency, reliability and punctuality is mandatory.
• Evenings (3-8PM) and Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• Education focus in Education, Communication, Sport Management, Exercise Science or similar is a plus.
• Must be competent in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
• Ability to tread water in 6' deep water for two minutes using only legs and surface dive to object at 6' depth without goggles.
• Swim or other coaching experience AND competitive swimming background is required.
