The Dishwasher / Facility Associate keeps the Ling Nam Express kitchen and store clean, safe, and fully operational. You are responsible for washing all bakery equipment, trays, and utensils; maintaining sanitation standards throughout the shift; and supporting the production and front-of-house teams with facility needs. A clean store is a direct expression of our brand — this role is essential to our ability to operate and serve guests every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dishwashing & Equipment Cleaning
• Wash, sanitize, and return all baking trays, equipment, bowls, tools, and utensils throughout the shift on a continuous cycle
• Ensure clean trays are always available for the Dough Preparer team — this is a time-sensitive production support role
• Clean and sanitize all prep surfaces, ovens (exterior), mixers, and packaging equipment per shift schedule
• Follow all three-compartment sink or commercial dishwasher protocols and chemical dilution standards
Facility & Sanitation
• Maintain clean floors throughout the kitchen and front-of-house — sweep and mop on schedule and as needed
• Empty and manage trash, recycling, and food waste bins throughout the shift and at close
• Clean and restock restrooms on a scheduled basis
• Report any equipment, plumbing, or facility issues to the Shift Supervisor immediately
• Complete all assigned sanitation tasks on the shift open, mid-shift, and close checklists
Production Support
• Assist the bakery team with additional tasks as directed by the Lead Baker or Shift Supervisor — including restocking supplies and breaking down boxes
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station and utility area at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
• Ability to work quickly and independently — this role sets the pace for the entire kitchen's cleanliness
• Physically able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot, wet conditions
• Detail-oriented and reliable — a missed tray or delayed return affects the whole production line
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Preferred
• Prior dishwashing or sanitation experience in a commercial kitchen or food production facility
• Familiarity with California health department sanitation standards
• Bilingual in Filipino (Tagalog) or Spanish
$17 - $18 per hour
