Medical Web Copywriter aims to roduce a high volume of high-quality medical content on behalf of both clients and the agency itself.


Position Summary

This position aims to educate, support, and grow someone naturally gifted in copywriting, with previous experience either in a medical or marketing role, within a high-performing web agency environment. Through the website design process, a Medical Web Copywriter will collaborate with the various departments at Lifted Logic to produce a high volume of high-quality medical content on behalf of both clients and the agency itself.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Content Creation:
  2. Produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content for various medical businesses, including but not limited to medical practices, hospitals, aesthetics clinics, and healthcare service providers. This content may include website pages, blog posts, articles, and other promotional materials.
  3. Keyword Research:
  4. Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-ranking keywords in the medical industry. Utilize these keywords strategically to enhance the discoverability of web content and improve organic search rankings.
  5. Audience Understanding:
  6. Develop a deep understanding of the target audience for each medical business. Tailor content to resonate with their needs, preferences, and search intents, ensuring maximum engagement and conversion.
  7. Brand Consistency:
  8. Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all web content to reinforce the unique identity and values of each medical business.
  9. SEO Best Practices:
  10. Stay updated on SEO best practices and trends to continuously optimize web content for improved search engine visibility and performance.
  11. Collaboration:
  12. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and medical professionals, to ensure alignment of content with overall marketing strategies and business objectives.

Performance Analysis:

  1. Monitor the performance of web content using analytics tools to track key metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Use insights to refine content strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  2. Position Requirements
  3. Strong knowledge of writing mechanics, including grammar, syntax, voice, and tone
  4. Either:
  5. Experience as a copywriter, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry; or
  6. 1 or more years of professional experience in a role adjacent to the healthcare field
  7. Knowledge in word processing programs, including Microsoft and Google products
  8. Either:
  9. Degree in English, Creative Writing, Communication, or other related field; 
  10. Proven self-taught writing abilities (Assessment required); or,
  11. Willingness to collaborate with content and other departments and receive constructive criticism
  12. Basic knowledge of technical & content-related SEO practices
  13. Comprehension of principles of storytelling


$45,000 - $55,000 per year
