Job Description

This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual appeal of our clients' websites, marketing, and business in general- through expert video, photo, and headshot editing. As a Media Editor, you will collaborate closely with the Content. Design, and Project Management teams to ensure that the websites along with any additional visual assets tell the client’s story.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing:
2. Edit and enhance video content to create engaging and captivating visuals.
3. Apply special effects, transitions, and color correction to achieve desired results.
4. Optimize video files for web delivery without compromising quality.
5. Photo Editing:
6. Retouch and manipulate images to meet specific design and branding requirements.
7. Resize and format images for web compatibility.
8. Enhance photo quality and consistency across the website.
9. Headshot Editing:
10. Edit headshots to ensure a professional and consistent appearance.
11. Retouch and remove imperfections while maintaining a natural look.
12. Crop and format headshots for website use.
13. Collaboration & Local Shooting:
14. Work closely with the design and development teams to understand project requirements.
15. Collaborate with content creators and clients to ensure the vision is achieved.
16. Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall quality of web content.
17. Manage multiple projects at any given time and maintain organization during the process.
18. Attending local shoots (within a 2 hour drive of KC) as the primary photographer or videographer to capture footage for clients.
19. Quality Assurance:
20. Ensure all edited media content meets high-quality standards.
21. Review and troubleshoot any technical issues related to media files.
22. Maintain an organized system for archiving and retrieving media assets.

Position Requirements

1. Proven experience in video, photo, and headshot editing.
2. Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom).
3. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
4. Understanding of web design and user experience principles.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
7. A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.

Please note - Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work scheduled and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
