Position Summary

The Digital Strategist owns the full strategic lifecycle of a client relationship at Lifted Logic, a digital agency in Overland Park, KS. You take a client from their website build through their ongoing marketing partnership. During the build, you create the strategic foundation: research, site architecture, keyword strategy, customer journey maps, and content plans that align the website with business objectives and user needs. After launch, you stay on as that client’s marketing strategist: leading strategy calls, reviewing performance across SEO, PPC, email, CRM, and web analytics, and translating data into clear priorities and recommendations.

At Lifted Logic, marketing is not a creative exercise with a budget. It is a vehicle for revenue growth, driven by repeatable, actionable processes and data. Every strategy you build, from site architecture to quarterly marketing roadmaps, is measured against the same question: is this moving the client’s revenue, and can we prove it?

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You are the person who decides what gets done and why, and you also build the sitemaps, run the keyword research, and map the journeys that make the strategy real. If you want to own client outcomes end to end rather than hand them off, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Build Phase

• Conduct research on each client’s market, audience, SEO landscape, and past marketing/website performance
• Create site maps, page architecture, and information architecture for website projects
• Perform keyword research and assign keyphrase strategy across the site
• Develop customer journey maps, user personas, and strategic content plans
• Lead client Q&A meetings for content collection and collaborate with writers, designers, and developers through launch

Partnership Phase

• Own marketing strategy for a portfolio of active client accounts
• Develop and maintain goal-driven marketing roadmaps tied to measurable revenue outcomes, built on repeatable processes the whole team can execute
• Lead client strategy meetings, presenting performance insights and recommending next steps
• Review and interpret data across SEO, PPC, email marketing, CRM, and web analytics
• Execute strategy deliverables, including reports and copy, all aligned with scope and timelines
• Identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities across accounts and proactively address them

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, web strategy, or UX strategy, preferably in an agency or consulting environment
• Working knowledge of SEO, information architecture, content strategy, and user research methods
• Comfortable leading conversations with business owners, marketing directors, and C-suite stakeholders
• You think in revenue terms, not vanity metrics. Traffic and impressions are inputs; pipeline, leads, and client revenue are the outcomes you build toward
• Analytical mindset: fluent in Google Analytics, Search Console, and reporting dashboards; CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) a plus
• Proven ability to manage strategy across multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize based on impact, not just urgency
• Experience working within defined scopes of work and client contracts

Please note: Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work schedule and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday).
