We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to contract with our team! As a paraprofessional at Liberty, you will have the opportunity to work with students who have a variety of learning challenges, including those with emotional and behavioral disorders, autism, and other disabilities. You will provide support and assistance to our students, both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Assist certified special education teachers in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, both in and out of the classroom
• Provide one-on-one instruction to students as needed
• Assist with academic and functional assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Communicate regularly with teachers, and other professionals to ensure the success of our students

Qualifications:

• Associate degree Required.
• Experience working with students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of our students

Compensation:

• $20/hour plus mileage for face to face placements
