HVAC | Sales Account Manager 


Liberty Supply is hiring an HVAC Sales Account Manager. This position is local to Minnesota and will work closely with our team in the office. The objective of the Sales Account Manager is to build lasting relationships among Liberty Supply’s commercial HVAC accounts. It is not a requirement to have direct industry experience in HVAC sales. What is required is an insatiable curiosity, a solution-oriented attitude, and a disciplined approach to time management. The type of individual who will excel in this position is collaborative, self-motivated, and results-driven. They are a systems thinker with a high aptitude for learning. They understand that relationships are built on competency and trust. 


Responsibilities


  • Conduct proactive account outreach to seed opportunities, build relationships, and stay top of mind
  • Schedule and lead account meetings to ask questions, identify friction, and understand problems
  • Create quotes and orders, following up on each through the lifecycle of transactions
  • Cultivate solid and meaningful relationships among your team, company suppliers, and customer accounts
  • Drive awareness and sales among targeted supplier offerings
  • Analyze and identify recurring issues and trends within customer cohorts
  • Present findings on customer challenges and patterns during internal team meetings
  • Engage in continuous learning among directed and self-directed sources


Education, Skills, and Experience 


  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a plus 
  • Experience with HVAC systems preferred 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets 
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills 
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems 
  • Software savvy – a quick study with a high retention rate 


What We Offer


  • Base compensation package of $42,000 to $55,000 (dependent upon qualifications) + performance incentives
