At Liberated Montessori, we believe in providing a nurturing and empowering environment for children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute to join our team in San Antonio. This is a part-time position with a salary range of $16 to $19 per hour.

**Job Overview:**

As a Substitute at Liberated Montessori, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative educational setting. You will be responsible for providing support to our lead teachers and assisting in the implementation of our Montessori curriculum. This role is crucial in maintaining continuity in the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.

**Responsibilities:**

- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by lead teachers

- Supervise and engage with students in various educational activities

- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

- Collaborate with team members to support the overall success of the school

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Pass Background Check for child care licensing

- Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred

- Understanding of Montessori principles and practices is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work well in a team environment
