Liatris Inc. is a cutting-edge clean energy start-up developing the highest performance building insulation technology in the industry utilizing environmentally friendly and resilient (e.g. non-flammable materials). The Company has raised >$7M in R&D funding from leading corporate and government partners, and is scaling up its first product for rapid commercialization. We are growing our team in our new Rockville, MD R&D lab and seeking a motivated Research Chemist to help accelerate product scale up and commercialization. This requires that the candidate is knowledgeable in polymers and materials science, able to conduct organized research and utilize laboratory equipment to create new materials and processes which will be scaled up into future production. This person needs to be able to effectively communicate their knowledge, and new findings with the internal team and external stakeholders. This position will report directly to the R&D Director.
