About the Role
Lexington Gutters and Exterior LLC is seeking a motivated, high-energy Field Sales & Gutter Specialist to service and grow our residential market. This is a unique hybrid role designed for someone who loves being active outdoors, talking to homeowners, and controlling their own earning potential.
You will handle high-quality gutter cleaning services at a steady hourly rate, while actively identifying opportunities to upgrade clients to 6-inch gutter systems, gutter guards, tune-ups, annual gutter/ window cleaning plans, or full exterior solutions (windows, siding, roofing).
Our primary focus is the premium Johnson County, Kansas market, with extended service travel reaching out to Liberty and Lexington.
Compensation & Perks
- Guaranteed Base Pay: $18.00 per hour flat rate for field/service hours.
- Uncapped Commission: Earn a percentage on all closed upgrades, gutter guards, maintenance plans, and larger exterior construction projects (siding, windows, etc.).
- First-Year OTE (On-Target Earnings): ~$60,000+ for an ambitious individual with no prior sales experience.
- Year Two & Beyond: Expected progression to $100,000+ as you build your pipeline and referral network.
- Uncapped Veteran Potential: Experienced roofing or home improvement sales professionals with a proven track record can easily clear $100k+ in year one.
- Accelerated Commissions: We heavily reward hustle. Self-generated leads (door knocking, community networking, Nextdoor/Facebook prospecting) pay out at a higher commission rate.

What You’ll Do
- Perform thorough, professional gutter cleanings and exterior inspections.
- Consult with homeowners on-site to recommend critical upgrades, maintenance plans, and custom exterior solutions.
- Actively generate new business through neighborhood canvassing, localized social media groups, and community networking.
- Confidently manage your schedule and travel across the Johnson County metro and surrounding service areas.

- The Hungry Trainee: You have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, aren't afraid of heights, and want to learn a high-income trade and sales skill set from the ground up.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle capable of commuting to job sites daily.
- Must be physically fit and completely comfortable climbing and working off ladders (regularly servicing multi-story Johnson County colonials and similar properties).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and self-management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
