General Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Apprentice position in Planning Support and Client Services plays a crucial role in assisting the Director of Planning and the advisory team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role involves supporting various administrative tasks, participating in client interactions, and contributing to strategic initiatives under the guidance of experienced professionals.


Job Duties:

Daily:

  • Assist with CRM data entry and maintenance to ensure accurate client records.
  • Respond to basic client inquiries and administrative requests, escalating complex issues to the advisory team.
  • Shadow advisors during client meetings to gain insight into client interactions and service delivery.
  • Process and prepare client financial plans and reports under supervision.

Weekly:

  • Aid in the preparation of advisor appointment reports and files.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete internal and external servicing requests.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing client service activities and strategic initiatives.

Monthly:

  • Support the scheduling and preparation of comprehensive annual reviews with clients.
  • Assist in the generation of reports summarizing client financial goals, performance, and risk tolerance.
  • Contribute ideas for improving service delivery processes based on observations and feedback.

As Needed:

  • Assist with account-related paperwork, including account openings, transfers, and beneficiary updates.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and regulatory changes to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support during client events and presentations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, with the willingness to learn financial software and CRM systems.

  • Basic understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and retirement planning concepts (training provided).
