Lake Erie Poker is a private, membership-based poker club located in Elyria, Ohio, opening in 2nd quarter 2026. We will offer a high-end, secure, and professionally run poker environment featuring 30 tables with daily cash poker and tournaments. Our passion is poker and our executive management team is focused on bringing decades of experience with recognized industry leaders to Northeast Ohio to elevate the poker experience.

Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service in a professional and friendly manner
  • Know and understand the rules of all poker variants offered and follow all policies and procedures
  • Uphold the integrity of poker hands while maintaining speed and accuracy moving the action as necessary
  • Accurately conduct guest transactions, track the size of the pot, make change, collect appropriate fees, and maintain the table bank
  • Inform management of any suspicious / unusual activity, disputes, and any irregularities
  • Contribute to a positive team-based environment and assist in all areas of the club as requested, including, but not limited to room cleanliness, conducting guest or bank transactions, helping guests, and any other tasks assigned by Lake Erie Poker Management
  • Protect company assets
  • Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 Year experience dealing poker; applicants may be offered the opportunity to attend a dealing class
  • Must pass a dealing audition
  • Effectively communicate in the English Language
  • Ability to pass a basic math test
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Exceptional Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
