Position Summary

Little Legacy Learning Academy is seeking caring, reliable, and energetic Teachers to join our growing team. Teachers will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children while supporting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of all children at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
• Use Brightwheel for attendance, communication, and daily reports
• Encourage positive behavior and classroom management
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
• Assist with maintaining classroom supplies and materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA, associate degree, or experience in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Experience working with children in a childcare or school setting preferred
• Must be able to pass all required background checks and clearances
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to lift, bend, and actively engage with children throughout the day
