The Manager of Food, Beverage, and Merchandise (MFBM) is responsible for the purchasing and inventory of all food, beverage and merchandise in the LAP. In addition, the MFBM, is responsible for f&b and merchandise displays and procedures of Base Camp and Ludwig’s Loft. The MFBM is responsible for Ludwig’s Loft staff.


Under the supervision of the Manager of Operations, The Manager of Food, Beverage, and Merchandise’s responsibilities include:

  • Menu and merchandise conception.
  • The ordering of all Food, Beverage, and Merchandise.
  • Maintains inventory levels.
  • Maintains relations with all applicable vendors.
  • Overseeing Ludwigs Loft operations and staff.
  • Fills in for staff when needed.
  • Works with Group and Events Coordinator to coordinate and manage on-site groups and events.
  • Participates as part of the leadership team.

 The MFBM is the point of contact for all third-party vendors that deal with food, beverage, and merchandise; this includes applicable cleaning supplies. Along with keeping inventory levels consistent, the MFBM is the supervisor over Ludwig’s Loft with direct reports from its staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old for full time position
  • High School Diploma or GED..
  • 3 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Retail and/or food service experience.
  • 2 references.
  • A Washington State Food Handler's Card (or ability to get one withing 10 days of employment).
  • Washington State MAST or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.

 Preferred Experience

  • 3 years of guest service experience, which could include recreation, retail, and/or food service.
  • 3 Years management or supervisory experience
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and various other programs.
  • Superior organizational and administrative skills
