The Leavenworth Adventure Park is a year-round source of fun and thrilling entertainment for families and kids of all ages. The park is conveniently located just a short walk from Leavenworth’s downtown area at the entrance to Tumwater Canyon. The park’s featured attraction is Washington State’s first Alpine Coaster which boasts three exciting helix circles and gorgeous views of the canyon, mountains, rivers, and the town of Leavenworth. With 1-2 people in each toboggan, riders control their own speed to create a scenic tour or a full-speed fast and thrilling ride. The park’s 27’ Climbing Wall includes multiple routes of varying difficulty to climb and auto-belay down. Kids love panning for up to 20 gemstones and treasures at the park's Mining Sluice. This fun teach-and-learn activity includes a take-home bag and descriptive info on the stones. The park also features 8,500 square foot Guest Service Center (GSC) with a viewing area of the park, indoor and outdoor seating and lots of room for groups to enjoy birthday parties and events. Grab and Go food and drink, including tasty items from local vendors, as well as souvenir merchandise items, are available in the GSC. Easy parking right in front of the park will make the Leavenworth Adventure Park an easy activity for families. Advance reservations for tickets to activities are available on-line. General Information

Have you always wanted to scare someone and get paid for it? Here’s your chance! We are looking for actors for our first annual Leavenworth Adventure Haunt experience. The property will be themed and decorated in a Gothic Bavarian theme and props on mountain to hide from riders to surprise them. Scare-acters will be haunting our guests while on the Alpine Coaster and throughout the park and building. We want energetic and engaging Scare-acters to entertain and spook guests with us. Practice your acting craft the month-long haunt. This is your chance to scare and delight people by using your creativity to create your own unique character.  We hope you join us for the fun and thrill of this time of year.

 

Some Details

• The haunting will be from 5pm until 8pm on selected nights from October 23-24, And 30-31
• The theme for your character and costume, is dark Bavarian gothic, and non-gory,
• In addition to your hourly pay, you will receive a $50 allowance for your costume and makeup.
• You must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Please have some sort of idea during the interview of your character so get those creative ideas flowing.

 

Locations you may be positioned in the park include:

• Up on the mountain near track
• In designated areas near the front gate
• Roaming throughout the park and building near the coaster launch and exit areas.

 

If you are hired, we will have training date (to be determined) to go over all specific rules and safety for all Scare-acters.
