✔️ Summary of responsibilities

As an intern in our Training and Operations Support role, you will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:


  • Assist with training logistics: Help coordinate training sessions, prepare materials, and support facilitators and participants
  • Resource management: Learn to track and manage budgets, staff schedules, and equipment for training activities
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain records and assist in creating reports on program progress and outcomes
  • Vendor management: Help analyze proposals, create comparison charts, and manage vendor communications
  • Evaluation support: Assist in preparing evaluation criteria and compiling data for program assessment


This internship provides a valuable opportunity to hone your skills in training administration, operations management, and vendor relations. You'll contribute to the seamless operation of our training programs while gaining hands-on experience in these key areas.


✔️ Required

  • One year of experience in a related role, with demonstrated skills in organization, communication, and teamwork
  • Proficiency in technology, including Google and Microsoft products, and ability to adapt to various online collaboration platforms
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status, with fluency in English
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit a professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Flexibility to work outside core office hours when necessary


NOTE: This position requires in-person support for training events in the Washington, D.C., area.

  • Fluency in a second language
  • Experience in international development, such as supporting federal clients or collaborating with international organizations or foreign assistance programs

Salary

$20 - $25 per hour
