Leapstart is looking for a thoughtful educator to guide students in the Studybe personalized academic practice program. This role begins with understanding each child's current skills, then providing clear explanations, targeted practice, review, and appropriate challenge in math and language arts. The ideal candidate notices learning gaps, adapts instruction to individual needs, and helps students build both academic skills and confidence.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students
• Strong foundation in elementary math and language arts
• Ability to explain concepts in more than one way
• Skill in identifying learning gaps and adjusting practice accordingly
• Patient, organized, and comfortable tracking student progress
• Background and fingerprinting check required

Work hours: 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
