The Laser Weld Technician is responsible for performing precision laser welding operations on stainless steel propellant tanks and primary flight structures. This role operates and programs a robotic arm equipped with an IPG LightWELD system to execute high-quality linear and circumferential welds on thin-gauge aerospace structures. The technician is responsible not only for welding execution, but also for tooling setup, fit-up verification, weld preparation, in-process monitoring, and post-weld finishing in accordance with aerospace standards. This is a critical flight hardware role requiring high attention to detail, disciplined process control, and ownership of weld quality.
