Maintenance Supervisor
Job Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and manage a team of landscaping professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to our ecological and sustainability standards. This role involves coordinating daily tasks, providing hands-on guidance, and maintaining strong client relationships.
I. Scope of Work
- Maintenance of various landscapes across Oʻahu, focusing on native plant care, ecological health, and aesthetic standards.
II. General Duties and Responsibilities (In addition to: General Maintenance Laborer Duties)
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of work quality, ensuring all projects meet Lēʻahi Landscaping's specifications and sustainability goals.
- Client Relations: Interact with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Training: Train crew members on best practices, safety protocols, and the use of all-electric equipment.
- Scheduling: Coordinate employee as well as account schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the team operates in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper storage, use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
- Technological Integration: Support the integration of emerging technologies and cutting edge landscaping practices.
III. Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping required.
- Ability to perform physical labor and operate maintenance equipment and lift at least 75 lbs.
- Punctuality and professionalism.
- Embodies principles of equity and respect, actively opposing racism and any form of discrimination in the workplace.
- General interest in native Hawaiian plants and ecological landscaping practices.
- Eagerness to learn and adopt sustainable landscaping techniques.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.

- Valid State ID.
IV. Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
V. Work Environment
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Operation of all-electric landscaping equipment.
