Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence cases.
- Lead complex legal cases and provide strategic guidance to clients throughout the litigation and settlement processes.
- Manage and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative and effective solutions for clients.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and settlement conferences.
- Stay current on California family law developments to provide the highest level of service.
- Actively contribute to firm growth and business development initiatives.
- Minimum billable hours of 1400/year.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California Bar.
- Minimum of 8 years of family law experience, with a proven track record of successful outcomes in complex cases.
- Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
