Position Summary

The Esthetician reports to the spa manager and will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience. Services include facials, body waxing and eyebrow waxing, laminations and tinting. The estie may be required to open and/or close the studio. Some inventory/housekeeping responsibilities may be involved. The estie should have a goal-oriented attitude who takes initiative. The estie is required to attend all professional development days and monthly studio meetings. Professionalism is a must.

Minimum Requirements

·      High School diploma or GED required.

·      State of Georgia Esthetician license.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Knowledgeable in skincare ingredients and products.

·      Minimum 1 year working esthetics experience or spa experience.

·      Experience with facials, waxing and brow tints/Laminations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·      Ability to work independently, solve problems, use good judgement, and maintain professionalism.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Basic computer skills

·      Ability to learn scheduling and timekeeping software.

·      Organizational skills.

Essential Duties

·      Provide an exceptional client experience during facial, waxing and brow services.

·      Schedule guest appointments.

·      Respond to customer inquiries.

·      Participate in professional development training days.

·      Check equipment to ensure proper functioning.

·      Practice cleanliness, sanitizing and sterilizing procedures before and after each client.

·      Restock treatment rooms daily & alert spa manager to supply shortages.

·      Confirm appointments and reschedule as needed.

·      Light housekeeping as assigned.

·      Other duties as assigned.

Physical Abilities and Working Conditions

          This position may require long periods of standing, sitting and/or walking. Lighting in spa rooms may be dimmed for client comfort. Employee will be required to sit, lean over and initiate physical contact with clients. May be required to lift up to 50lbs.
