Position Summary: The Business Development Associate will lead our early sales efforts, setting the foundation for growth and expanding our presence in healthcare. This role is ideal for a passionate self-starter who is motivated by solving complex healthcare challenges and improving women’s health. You’ll shape our outreach, build relationships, and drive meaningful partnerships with a focus on chronic care and women’s health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a tailored sales approach that aligns with Lasa Health’s mission, targeting healthcare providers and partners who can champion our platform.
- Lead Generation and Relationship Building: Identify and establish connections with key stakeholders within healthcare organizations, including office managers, directors, and physicians, who influence chronic pain management decisions.
- Market Segmentation and Outreach: Develop a refined list of prospects, focusing on organizations with existing but underserved chronic care programs, and initiate outreach through direct and co-selling opportunities.
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, maintaining clear priorities and visibility into key opportunities.
- Sales Process Ownership: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closure, including follow-up meetings with champions within healthcare organizations, contract negotiation, and handoff to account management.
- Collaboration with Product and Clinical Teams: Partner with internal teams to align sales efforts with product developments, and bring customer insights back to guide product roadmap and clinical initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Passionate About Women’s Health: Committed to advancing healthcare solutions and improving quality of life for women experiencing chronic pain.
- Healthcare Expertise: Deep understanding of healthcare systems, chronic pain management, and experience navigating long and complex sales cycles.
- Proven Sales Success: Track record in selling B2B SaaS solutions to healthcare providers, ideally with a history of breaking into new markets or launching new products.
- Relationship-Oriented: Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with senior healthcare professionals, including clinical and operational decision-makers.
- Adaptable and Entrepreneurial: Thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments where wearing multiple hats is essential. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot strategies based on market feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally selling software or technology to healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated success in building new customer bases and meeting sales targets in high-growth, early-stage environments.
- Knowledge of reimbursement models, chronic pain treatment protocols, and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting.
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 base salary per year, plus commission.
