Your Responsibilities
Retail Sales Associates keep the lights on! These superhumans staff our store and events and create an exceptional customer experience. They thrive working as a team in fast-paced environments but are equally motivated to work independently and get sh*t done. They also support our Operations team behind the scenes with order fulfillment, receiving and special packaging projects as needed.
This role is:
- part-time (12-14 hours per week, 4-8 hour shift lengths)
- seasonal (lasting 4-5 months, August-December)
We're looking for candidates who:
- can start between August 1-15
- can commit to one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) every week
- have availability during peak holiday dates (Nov 27-29, Dec 14-23, Dec 26-28)
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will:
- Interact with customers - greet customers, educate about products/brand, offer shopping suggestions, answer questions, create amazing customer experiences
- Operate POS system - ring sales, accept returns & exchanges, follow cash handling procedures
- Perform services - operate hand tools to create permanent jewelry and custom hats for customers (don’t worry, training is provided!)
- Maintain visual merchandise standards - pull restock reports, refill product on sales floor, assist with new floorsets, complete basic shop maintenance/cleaning duties
- Support accurate inventory - quality check and receive product for stockroom/sales floor, complete basic inventory corrections, assist with sitewide inventory
- Work at events - setup & teardown, ring sales, interact with customers, perform permanent jewelry and custom hat services, merchandise table displays - events are primarily onsite, offsite as needed
- Support order fulfillment (as needed) - pull and quality check product, pack and ship online orders, complete special packaging projects
- Support team success - pull sales reports, achieve sales and efficiency goals, participate in team meetings, use company messaging tools, follow policies in company handbook
