Part-Time Facilities Maintenance

This position supports Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager in managing all aspects of maintenance for retail commercial real estate portfolio in Geneva, Illinois with the following responsibilities:

·      Perform, including but not limited to, minor building, plumbing, painting and misc. repairs.

·      Perform cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, buildings, sidewalks, parking lots, vacant units, exterior storefronts as applicable, management office, public restrooms, etc.

·      Perform common areas clean-up to provide additional pressure washing, blowing outdoor areas, parking lot and/or sidewalks.

·      Have an understanding of supplies on hand and inform the supervisor as inventory depletes or additional supplies are needed.

·      Participate in maintaining a record of equipment maintenance along with supervisor.

·      Conduct vacant suite inspections.

·      Detect faulty operations of tools and defective materials and report them to the supervisor or Property Manager.

·      Comply with safety regulations, exercise safety precautions and maintain clean orderly properties and work areas.

·      Participate in and provide additional support in promotional events, including but not limited to, setting up/tear down of necessary amenities, cleaning, trash removal, banner/sign installation/removal, etc.

·      Participate in and implement preventative maintenance.

·      All other maintenance duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

·      Must have a valid driver’s license. Reference and background screening will be conducted.

·      Schedule will be Monday through Friday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Hours may vary to accommodate occasional promotional events.
