Lawn IQ is looking for a skilled Lawn Care Technician to apply herbicides and pesticides to commercial and residential lawns and landscapes. You will be responsible for assisting the lead lawn care tech and eventually managing a scheduled route of lawn care or weed control applications on your own. A Lawn Care Technician is knowledgeable in the care and maintenance of all types of turf.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Clean driving record and insurable under company provider
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work outside in ALL weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and manage transporting equipment, drive and maintain safety precautions while using heavy machinery
• Advanced problem solving skills and proven time management
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Perform fertilizer, weed control, and pesticide applications for our commercial and residential customers.
• Quote potential customers in the field for lawn care services.
• Utilize software in the field to track applications, input customer lawn health information etc.
• Perform routine service calls on appliances, vehicles or other equipment used for performing work.
• Clean up debris and remove fertilizer from sidewalks using a blower.
• Observe for any hazards that would violate state law or regulations and be able to make decisions on that observation.
• Report on weather conditions and any updates in advance of any scheduled service.
• Assist customers with questions or problems regarding their Lawn IQ services.
• Follow Colorado State Department of Agriculture pesticide laws and regulations for commercial applicators at all times.
