What You’ll Be Doing:

Faith & Ministry

1. Incorporate Jesus into daily conversation and prayer with students and parents, partnering with our faith based curriculum .

Classroom Leadership

1. Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to engage with students each day
2. Implement academic and Bible-based curriculum
3. Adjust lessons to meet various learning styles and developmental needs
4. Foster hands-on, sensory-rich learning (a little mess is okay!)

Flexibility & Commitment

1. Be consistent and reliable in attendance
2. Adapt when plans shift—because they will!
3. Stay positive even when things don’t go as planned
4. Attend all staff meetings, family events, and special school functions

Communication & Collaboration

1. Maintain clear, professional communication with students, parents, and staff
2. Follow all guidelines outlined in our Employee Manual and Parent Handbook
3. Complete and share behavior and incident reports with families same day

Professionalism & Growth

1. Participate in school accreditation
2. Complete 10 hours of annual continuing education

Classroom Care & Prep

1. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning space
2. Prepare thoughtful daily lesson plans and track student growth through 3 yearly evalutations
3. Provide sub plans in advance when absent

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 21 years old
2. Able to bend, kneel, sit on the floor, stand for long periods, and lift up to 45 lbs
3. Completed DCF 45 Hours
4. Experience with Frog Street Curriculum, LineLeader, and Canva preferred
5. Must hold a Florida Staff Credential and one of the following:
6. Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood
7. CDA
