Position Responsibilities

·       Research and identify grant opportunities that align with Lakeshore Advantage priorities and community impact goals

·       Support the development, drafting, organization, and submission of grant applications and proposals

·       Coordinate required materials, documentation, timelines, and partner inputs for funding opportunities

·       Track awarded grants, reporting deadlines, compliance requirements, and application progress

·       Assist with grant reporting, including data collection, narrative development, and outcome tracking

·       Maintain organized records of grant-related materials, applications, correspondence, and follow-up needs

·       Provide administrative support for incentive and tax abatement application processes, including documentation collection and submission tracking

·       Support special initiatives, project tracking, internal tools, templates, standard operating procedures, and other organizational priorities as needed

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in economic development, business, planning, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

·       1-3 years of experience in economic development, project management, administrative assistance, or grant writing

·       Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Hours & Location

Full-time, 40 hours per week

In-person, Holland, MI

Some evenings and early mornings required.
