As a Server, you will be responsible for working with a team to provide outstanding customer service and an exceptional dining experience. Servers are responsible for maintaining a professional, friendly, and composed demeanor. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, creative, and has excellent communication and customer service skills. This position reports directly to the Lead Server.

A unique private community celebrating over 50 years of fun. We are located near Shelton, Washington, with over 1100 homes and recreational lots. Our 9-hole golf course and pro shop cafe are open to the public. The Great Hall overlooks beautiful Lake Limerick and is available to rent for weddings, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and many other gatherings. Description

Objectives

·      Provide a high level of customer service in the dining room by providing exceptional service and quality food.

·      Establish a standard for the quality of service and professionalism of the staff and maintain the standards.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

·      Ensure the restaurant is clean and prepared for service.

·      Prepare reserved tables with appropriate settings and name cards.

·      Support the expeditor by ensuring all food goes to the appropriate table as orders are prepared.

·      Report any guest comments or concerns to the Lead Server and Chef.

·      Address any guest concerns or complaints.

·      Welcome guests to the restaurant and seat them.

·      Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to the kitchen staff.

·      Providing attentive service to customers.

·      Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen, and dining area.

·      Exceptional organization and time management required.

·      Effective written and verbal communication skills.



Qualifications:

·      High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required and

·      Experience in the Restaurant or Food & Beverage Industry

·      Food Handler’s Certification

·      MAST Certification

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·      Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

·      Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service styles, and etiquette

·      Basic math skills and cash handling experience

·      Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

 

Compensation:

We are committed to offering competitive compensation for all our positions at Lake Limerick Country Club. The hiring range for this position is generally between $17 - $20 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. 

All candidates must be able to pass a background check prior to starting employment.  

Salary

$17.5 - $19 per hour
