As a substitute teacher, you may be asked to fill in for Kindergarten through High School teachers. A bachelor’s degree and the ability to teach K-12 education is preferred. Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
Description
Responsibilities
· Perform tasks as outlined in class plan left by lead teacher.
· Familiarity with central concepts, content, and skills as related to K-12 classical education (phonics, cursive, grammar, math, history, literature/composition).
· Effectively manage a classroom to facilitate maximized learning for all students.
Qualifications
· Demonstrate a commitment to classical education and the vision, mission, and philosophy of the school.
· Motivated individual with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and with an interest in encouraging and inspiring students.
· Team player ready to do what it takes and exhibit professional excellence.
