Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Clinical Procedures:

·        Perform advanced micromanipulation techniques (ICSI, embryo biopsy)

·        Conduct oocyte retrieval, denuding, and assessment

·        Perform embryo culture, assessment, and transfer

·        Execute embryo and oocyte vitrification, warming, and storage

·        Prepare media and laboratory supplies

·        Conduct semen analysis and IUI preparations

·        Maintain detailed records of all laboratory procedures

·        Adhere to strict quality control standards

·        Laboratory Management:

·        Review laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, CDC, FDA, CAP)

·        Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement maintenance procedures

·        Participate in quality improvement initiatives

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field

·        Master's degree in Embryology or related field (PhD preferred)

·        ABB certification in Embryology and Andrology

·        5+ years of experience in a high-volume fertility clinic

·        Proven expertise in advanced micromanipulation techniques

·        Strong organizational and time management skills

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

·        Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays 

Desired Skills:

·        Experience with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR)

·        Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS)

·        Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software

Salary

$140,000 - $160,000 per year
