Duties and Responsibilities

Patient Care:

●      Greet and welcome patients in a warm and compassionate manner.

●      Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.

●      Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including assisting with gowning and draping.

●      Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments, as needed.

●      Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples.

●      Process and label blood samples for laboratory testing.

●      Administer medications and injections, following specific protocols.

●      Collect and process biological specimens, such as blood and semen samples.

●      Prepare and maintain patient charts and medical records.

●      Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions.

 

Clinical Operations:

●      Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies.

●      Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.

●      Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

●      Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.

 

Administrative Duties:

●      Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars.

●      Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information as needed.

●      Verify insurance benefits and process insurance claims.

●      Assist with billing and collections.

●      Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-


Full-Time

Medical Assistant candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

●       Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.

●       Bilingual in Mandarin preferred

●       High school diploma or equivalent.

●       Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a fertility clinic.

●       Strong organizational and time management skills.

●       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

●       Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 

●       Attention to detail and accuracy.

●       Empathy and compassion for patients going through fertility treatments.


Salary

$24 - $25 per hour
